Agenda:

  • Introductions and Announcements:
  • Enterprise Rights Management in the Age of Compliance
Enterprise Rights Management is the concept that each document and piece of intellectual property belongs to your entity, and it should NOT BE POSSIBLE for unauthorized users to access those documents unless your entity has chosen to release them. This presentation will focus on how Enterprise Rights Management addresses issues raised by:
    • HIPAA
    • Graham Leach Bliley
    • Sarbanes Oxley
    • California SB 1386
  • Enterprise Rights Management in Action
Microsoft and Liquid Machines, who have both taken the Birmingham InfraGard Anti-Marketing Pledge, will be presenting an example of Rights Management used to control corporate email and document permissions. If documents leave the Rights Management environment, they cannot be opened.

Bring your questions and experiences and let's have some great discussion with our peers as we look at these issues!
